I have a problem with Apple Music.

Select your situation:

I have a FREE Apple Music account.

Apple Music only allows playlist conversion to their Premium subscribers.

You can either go Premium on Apple Music or use our guest Apple Music profile.

To publish on Soundsgood Apple Music profile:

  1. Create your playlist in Soundsgood
  2. Click on “Guest account”
  3. Click PUBLISH

The playlist will be created on Soundsgood Apple Music profile and immediatly appear on your Soundsgood shareable widget.

I have a PREMIUM Apple Music account.

Problem #01
Playlist not created on Apple Music

Your playlist has probably been created. But is private by default.

1. Open Apple Music / iTunes

2. Locate the private playlist

  • in iTunes, under “Music playlists” at the bottom left of your Library tab
  • on iPhone, in “My playlists”

3. Check “Publish on Profile and in Search” in the playlist settings

4. Go back to Soundsgood and click PUBLISH

Soundsgood will automatically retrieve the playlist URL and inject it into your playlist widget.

Problem #02
Playlist not updated on Apple Music

Apple Music has several limitations when updating playlists:

  • No changes to the tracks order
  • No tracks removals
  • New tracks gets added at the bottom

You can accept that, and live with it… or you can follow these extra steps at each playlist update:

  • Open your playlist in Apple Music / iTunes
  • Remove all tracks (do not delete the playlist though)
  • Go on Soundsgood and click PUBLISH

Since Apple Music will consider all tracks to be new tracks, they’ll be added in Apple Music, and in the right order!

Happy playlisting!

I manage OFFICIAL Playlists (Artists or Curator).

5. Publish it under “Managed playlists” where your official public playlists are listed.

// NOTE

Problem #03
Apple Music playlist is not featured on the Soundsgood widget.

Your playlist doesn’t appear on Soundsgood player, here is what you can do:

  • Open iTunes on desktop
  • Find your official playlist and copy the URL link
  • Go on Soundsgood
  • Paste the URL link in the section “Advanced” in the field dedicated to Apple Music
I don't really know...

To figure out if you manage regular Apple Music playlists, or OFFICIAL ones – head to iTunes, click on the LIBRARY tab, and check where your playlists are situated:

1. Your playlists appear under “Managed playlists”

You manage official playlists. Head to the section “I manage OFFICIAL Playlists (Artists or Curator).”

2. Your playlists appear under “Music playlists”

You manage regular playlists. Head to the section “I have a PREMIUM Apple Music account.”
